An article in the Israeli weekly newspaper Haaretz suggests that India is the best place to cook Indian food in Israel.
The article claims that the “New India” is the place for a new “Indian” cuisine that is “perfect for the Indian palate” and offers a “world-class” cuisine.
“The new Indian cuisine is an amalgamation of the most classic Indian dishes and Indian ingredients,” the article says.
The best Indian dishes, which it describes as “deep and rich,” are made of “deep, creamy, savory, spicy, and sweet” with “a very complex, rich flavor” and are “made with a wide range of ingredients,” according to the article.
It also adds that “all the ingredients are prepared in a very simple, elegant, and clean way.”
According to Haaretz, the article is based on an interview with former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
The Times of Israel’s website claims that Olmerts “secret menu” is currently in production, and that it will include “all-natural Indian recipes” for the public to try.
The new Indian food is a “great new trend for Israelis,” the Times of Israeli says.
